The odds are that the Tories will win big, although I hope not.

I thought the Trumpist style of Corbyn's launch, was unfortunate. Play to Corbyn's strengths yes, but not like that. If Labour more or less hold what they have, it will be a victory.
On the wider point of the Labour party, you need a better leader, much as I like Corbyn, he is not up to the job.
Mike Shaughnessyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16796480031110991460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440117683736860632.post-23308070324885942442017-04-22T14:55:14.220-07:002017-04-22T14:55:14.220-07:00I don't think Theresa May is as clever as you ...I don't think Theresa May is as clever as you make out. She has largely succeeded on empty rhetoric albeit convincing rhetoric. She has no track-record of delivery. She has failed on prisons, the sexual abuse enquiry, the NHS, schools and has no industrial or wealth creation policy apart from selling weapons into the middle east and selling financial products and derivates. Her strategy on Brexit is driven by her personal political interests and self-image. The mainstream media have deliberately avoided any exposure of her failure on these issues. She has called an election to avoid being found out which will come apparent as the Brexit negotiations progress.

The Labour party has been philosophically sliding for 35 years and electorally for the last 15 years as the electorate discovered they have turned into another Conservative Party. Jeremy Corbyn is their last hope of rejuvenation. If the centre ground take over the Labour Party in the future they might as well merge with the Liberal Democrats.Prakash Bijwehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16961433532560719805noreply@blogger.com
